II. Metamask

MetaMask is a plugin utilized by the Openfabric platform to enhance user experience and streamline various tasks within the context of the marketplace. It serves multiple purposes, such as:

  • Creating an Openfabric Xplorer account: By leveraging an existing MetaMask account, you can easily register with Openfabric. This registration allows you to engage with the Openfabric platform and its wide array of AI-Apps.
  • Paying for AI-App execution: MetaMask enables users to seamlessly handle payments for AI-App usage, as it connects directly to their wallet, allowing for secure and efficient transactions.
  • Signing transactions when creating and updating an AI-App: As part of the AI-App management process, MetaMask provides a secure method for users to sign and authorize transactions related to the creation and updating of AI-Apps on the platform. This ensures data integrity and maintains the decentralized nature of the Openfabric ecosystem.

Confirm transaction for new AI-App instance​

When you decide to create a new AI-App instance on the Openfabric platform, it is necessary to confirm the Metamask transaction to validate and finalize the creation process. If the transaction confirmation is not completed, the AI-App instance will not be created. This verification step ensures the integrity of the platform, providing an additional layer of security.

Confirm transaction for AI-Apps​

Within the context of the Openfabric Xplorer, when creating or updating an existing AI-App, a MetaMask transaction confirmation is required. This serves as a security feature, ensuring that the user initiating the update has the appropriate permissions for the transaction.

Metamask Authentication​

Utilizing MetaMask for authentication in the Openfabric Xplorer streamlines the login process and bolsters security when interacting with the platform. By integrating with MetaMask, the platform leverages the robust security features of blockchain technology, providing users with a secure and trustworthy experience while working with AI-Apps and services.
